21st Century Manufacturing
As part of the Rural Development Programme for England (2014 – 2020) a government scheme which provides money for projects to improve agriculture, the environment and rural life; Yarcombe Woodland Products has been fortunate enough to secure a grant through the Heart of Wessex Local Action Group which has permitted us to build an extension to an existing workshop, and install an automatic panel manufacturing machine and stacking line.
Not only has this funding brought us the latest manufacturing technology to our business, which has enabled us to keep up with customer demand and allowed our business to expand and diversify; it has also given us the opportunity to give back to the community by creating more local full time employment and providing a boost to the rural economy.
