COVID-19 UPDATE

Status Update August 21st 2020

With the current situation in relation to the COVID-19 outbreak and as it is our upmost concern to protect our employees and customers health and wellbeing we have decided to implement the following measures: 

Our trade counter is now open with customers been served at a counter outside

The yard and showroom remains closed for viewing

We can take collection orders over the phone or through the website, but please do not travel until you have received confirmation at what time your order is available to collect 

We will endeavour to complete deliveries and we will take new orders for deliveries but please be aware we have very high demand at the moment.

Be aware that we may have limited staff availability so please be patient 

Please do not travel to our depots before placing an order to avoid disappointment as you may not be served. 

Until further notice our opening hours will be Mon – Fri 8.00 - 17.00 Sat – 8.00 – 12noon

We are doing our very best in difficult circumstances for everybody and we continue to monitor developments and will provide further updates as we can. We appreciate your understanding and support. Please keep safe and well.

Please be aware our delivery service is currently running at a 7-10 day lead time.

DELIVERY PROTOCOL

To comply with the Government Guidelines of social distancing and to keep our employees and customers as safe as we can during the delivery of goods, we are adhering to the procedure below. 

By placing, an order the customer agrees that they are happy to accept deliveries of goods ordered on the basis of the terms and conditions below. 

Terms & Conditions 

  • Deliveries are strictly driveway drop.

  • The driver is not responsible for carrying goods more than 2.0m from the side of the vehicle

  • The driver will not knock on doors and will leave goods on driveway or where requested by customer

  • The customer is to provide a contact telephone number for available site personnel prior to any deliveries being despatched along with confirmation that they will remain a safe distance from the delivery driver.

  • The driver will use the notes provided to leave goods in a safe location

  • Should a safe location not be available then refusal of delivery will be left to the driver’s discretion.

  • When the driver has unloaded the goods; he will leave paperwork with the goods or through the customer’s letter box. Whichever he deems safe and practical.

  • We do not require a signature for delivery. All customers must remain at a safe distance while the delivery is carried out. 

  • Refusal to comply with these conditions on site will result in non-delivery of items and full abortive costs charged to the customer. 

  • The driver’s safety is of our upmost importance. Should the driver feel unsafe or uncomfortable with the delivery then they can refuse to drop of the goods at their discretion.

COLLECTION PROTOCOL

To comply with the Government Guidelines of social distancing and to keep our employees and customers as safe as we can during the delivery of goods, we are adhering to the procedure below.

Terms & Conditions 

  • Payment must be made in full via BACS or card payment before any collection can be arranged

  • The customer is to provide a contact telephone number prior to any collections being organised along with confirmation that they will remain a safe distance from all staff.

  • Yard staff will leave goods in the designated bay at the designated time for the customer to collect

  • Should the customer be late for collection then goods will be removed and another time slot arranged

  • Should any queries arise when collecting goods customers must contact the office via phone

  • At no time should customers enter yard unless authorised by management

  • At no time will customers be allowed access to office, showroom, work shop and toilets

  • Safe distancing must be complied with at all times.

  • We do not require a signature for collection. All customers must remain at a safe distance while collecting goods

  • Refusal to comply with these conditions on site will result in collection of goods being refused and full abortive costs charged to the customer. 

  • Our staff’s safety is of our upmost importance. Should anyone feel unsafe or uncomfortable during the collection process then refusal of goods can be at the staff’s digression.
